In the Court of the Demon King

What will you sacrifice to escape from the monster? What will they sacrifice to keep you?

In the Court of the Demon King is a gmless, two-player game about power, consent, and obsession. Take on the role of a powerful supernatural force or the object of their obsession to tell a story of romance, abuse, resistance, and escape. Over the course of an approximately hour-long session, you and your partner will build the story of your character's romance, tragedy, or triumph enabled by interwoven roleplay guidelines and card based gameplay mechanics. 

To play the Suitor is to play a monster. Your manner may be cruel or kind, it matters not. What matters is that you have caught the object of your desire. How shall you bind them tight?

To play the Intended is to play prey. You may be outmatched, but you are not yet outsmarted. How shall you make your escape? What should happen if your monster is not quite as monstrous as they first seem?

Can the helpless Intended make their daring escape or will their affections be won by their monstrous Suitor?
